48 Hours of Christmas

I started my Christmas celebrations in Michigan, waking up on my parents couch with a cat or two. Luckily Regis, the dog who has Alzheimers, slept through the night. Normally he wakes up my parents by barking; he is scared of the dark. I had a pretty laid back day, I did forget to grab Tim Horton's coffee when I was out, as it was the last chance whilst in Michigan to do so. Jennifer stopped by and we tried to push baked goods on her, but she didn't fall for it. We ate a lot and had a wonderful day, then my parents took me to the airport. I went through one of the most rigorous security lines at an airport, I was flying out of Flint. I was questioned about why I was flying to Washington DC, and why I was carrying frosting tips in my carry-on luggage. Also, when did everyone have a baby? There were at least four babies on the plane and only about thirty adults...

It was nice to get home and sleep in my own bed. Nathan kept the apartment clean, it was a Christmas miracle! Christmas morning we went to his parents house to begin Christmas celebrations. We opened gifts, I received the greatest gift of all time, the KitchenAid Professional 600 Stand Mixer!!! We ate Birthday cake for breakfast, really, you can't ask for much more, but things got even better. Nathan's parents having a standing engagement with some family friends every Christmas. We headed to Maryland for food, wine, and to meet Law and Order stars!!! Okay, well there was one there, but it is one of my favorite shows, so I was quite pleased. Michael Oberlander has been on a couple episodes of Law and Order and apparently House, one of my other favorites. I will be going home to watch that today!

Now I am back to work. There was sushi for lunch today, always a great way to end the week.

Things I am looking for an answer to:

Has anyone seen George Clinton?
Where have all the rats gone?
